Animal Hospital on the Ridge
In 2001 Dr.
Dalia Mathan extensively remodeled the old
building that once housed Kinship
Veterinary clinic, located at 1509 Wagstaff
Road, across from Rite-Aid in Paradise. It
had been sitting empty for more than 5 years and had been vandalized over the
years; They did a complete makeover of the building and grounds to make it a
prize winning establishment.
The hospital is now a bright warm and welcoming environment for you and your pets.
Fully equipped and staffed, we are prepared to provide quality veterinary care to your best friends. This practice has always emphasized personal service and individual care.

The Vetmobile
Dr Dalia Mathan started the Vetmobile mobile clinic in 1996 offering house call services to the Paradise, Magalia, Chico area. Providing veterinary care to those who are house bound, have multiple animals or just are more comfortable in their own home is the essence of her slogan, “The Vet that comes to your Pet”. Many people and animals have enjoyed the relaxed and less stressful treatment that this allows. We continue to provide house call services in addition to the Animal Hospital.
Born and raised in northern California, Dr.
Mathan
grew up knowing she was going to be a veterinarian from the time she was 13
years old. She graduated with
honors from UC Davis with a bachelors of science in biology in 1982.
She graduated also with honors from the School of Veterinary Medicine at
UC Davis in 1987. Her first position as a veterinarian was at Skyway Pet
Hospital in Paradise from 1987 to 1990. Then as a relief veterinarian, from 1990
to 1996 she had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clinicians
including being on staff at the North Valley Veterinary Emergency Clinic for two
years.
